Dublin

Today Dublin is the capital of Ireland with its own unique character.  With such points of interest including Trinity College and its infamous library, Temple bar, and several excellent pubs and breweries including the Guinness Brewery, and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Kilkenny

If Dublin is marked by its unique Georgian cosmopolitan atmosphere then Kilkenny is the medieval counterpart.  Provided largely through preservation and restoration of sites such as Kilkenny Castle and St. Canice's Cathedral.

Blarney Castle

The site of the mythic stone of the same name.  In order to kiss the stone requires one to climb to the top of the castle, lean over precariously on the edge, and kiss the stone.  Though it's not for the faint of heart or those who don't like heights.

Ring of Kerry

More of a trail than a single destination the Ring of Kerry is a long, circular route that affords the classic image of Irish countryside and includes multiple tourist spots.

Limerick

Another Georgian city Limerick is filled with its own architectural treasures such as King John's Castle and St. Mary's Cathedral and features a divide between its English and Irish characteristics conveniently referred to as Englishtown and Irishtown.

Cliffs of Moher

These impressive cliffs rise several hundred feet and are surrounded by green countryside.
