Back from Scandinavia and Russia

Here are some photos that I took in Copenhagen.  Grams is a small take-out specializing in soups and sandwiches - it quickly became my favorite spot for lunch each day that I was in Copenhagen. The food is fantastic.  Claus and Martin are the owners and are most hospitable and welcoming.  Really nice guys.  Claus has two children - a 19 year old daughter and a 15 year old son.  Love the fresh flowers throughout the city at the flower kiosks.

I love the street entertainers in Copenhagen.  Also the  law enforcement officers in Copenhagen are kind and friendly.

n Oslo, Norway, millions of flowers were strewn everywhere in honor of those 77 youths murdered by the Norwegian snipper.

In Arhus, Denmark - the outdoor village museum was a treat.  Gave a hands-on feel to what Denmark was like in the 17th, 18th, & 19th centuries.

Tallin, Estonia is a true delight - this medieval city is full of charm and charisma as are it's people.

St. Petersburg is full of treasures - Can hardly image that most of these were destroyed in World War II  - they have been so beautifully restored.

The Rock Church in Helsinki, Finland is certainly unique - supposedly the neighborhood did not want a tall church built there to block their view - so this church was carved out of the rock cliff - now the neighborhood has their view, but also have hundreds of tourists clogging the neighborhood.

Stockholm, Sweden was one of everyone's favorite stops - including the Ice Bar.

Some of my cruise guests from Salt Lake City - such gracious, endearing friends.
